Few Words About Vijay

Vijay ( Ilaya Thalapathy or Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar ) born as son of S. A. Chandrasekhar and Shoba Chandrasekhar on June 22, 1974 , he done schooling at Balalok in Virugambakkam and Visual Communications at Loyola College both are in Chennai. Vijay started his career by acting his father's movie Naalaya Theerpu (1992 ) his first leading role.

Vijay married London-based Sri Lankan Tamil Sangeetha Sornalingam on August 25, 1999.They have two children, a son born in 2001 in London, and a daughter born in 2005 in Chennai

Vijay acted several romance and action films, along with the commercially successful films and He is ambassador for the IPL cricket team Chennai Super Kings, also several commercial companies as a brand ambassador

Vijay, popularly known as Ilaya Thalapathy (Prince) among his fans, has got a large number of fans association throughout south India, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. His fans associations are also well known for various engagements in charity and community development
